Cloud Provider Data Center
Critical cooling and power systems for a 100,000 sq ft data center with redundant infrastructure.
Project Overview
This 200,000 sq ft hyperscale data center was developed for a leading global cloud service provider, designed to support uninterrupted digital services and secure storage. The facility included server halls, NOCs (Network Operations Centers), power and cooling infrastructure, and redundancy systems. Our team delivered complete MEP and fire protection design using BIM, optimized for uptime and scalability.
The Challenge
Data centers require robust mechanical and electrical systems to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and thermal management. The project involved complex power distribution layouts, redundant cooling systems, and critical coordination between IT infrastructure and facility systems—all under strict timeline and security constraints.
Our Solution
We created fully coordinated BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including dual-feed power supply, hot/cold aisle containment, and mission-critical HVAC configurations. Our team collaborated with IT system engineers and facility managers to ensure optimal load balancing, energy efficiency, and Tier III+ compliance.
Results & Impact
Delivered 2N redundancy across power and cooling systems
Reduced energy consumption through optimized airflow and intelligent cooling strategies
Enabled zero-downtime commissioning with phased construction and testing support
Provided LOD 400 as-built models to support real-time monitoring and future upgrades
