Craft Brewery & Restaurant

MEP systems for a 15,000 sq ft brewery and restaurant with specialized process piping and ventilation

Project Overview

This vibrant craft brewery and restaurant facility blends small-batch beer production with a full-service dining experience and event hosting capabilities. The 50,000 sq ft space includes brewing and fermentation areas, cold storage, a commercial kitchen, tasting rooms, and indoor/outdoor seating. We were responsible for the full design and coordination of MEP and fire protection systems tailored to the food and beverage industry

The Challenge

The project required precise integration of MEP systems in a hybrid environment combining industrial brewing processes with customer-facing hospitality areas. Maintaining proper ventilation, sanitation, and equipment layout while meeting food safety and fire code regulations was a key challenge.

Our Solution

We developed coordinated BIM models for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring seamless integration between brewing equipment, commercial kitchen infrastructure, and public spaces. Our team worked closely with brewmasters, kitchen consultants, and architects to optimize utility routing and support smooth operations.

Results & Impact

Integrated brewing systems, chilled water lines, and food-service utilities with zero service interruptions

Improved kitchen and brewery performance through optimized HVAC and drainage design

Enabled efficient permitting by aligning designs with health and fire safety codes

Delivered detailed LOD 400 models for ongoing maintenance and future expansion
